Next up, the Fighting Irish face the Serena Huskers (Serena, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 17. Seneca will attempt to better on its 16-11 season record. The Huskers go into the contest with a 20-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Leland (Leland, IL).

With the loss, Joliet Central moves to 2-21 on the year. The Steelmen travel to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to face the Wildcats in a Southwest Prairie contest on Tuesday, October 18. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 12-16. Plainfield Central won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Sterling (Sterling, IL)
