The Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) football were winner over the host Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), 35-21 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host West Henderson for a 3A Mountain 7 outing on Friday, October 25.

With the defeat, Tuscola drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a 3A Mountain 7 outing on Friday, October 18. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 4-2. West Henderson won 27-24 in their recent league outing against Pisgah (Canton, NC)
