In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Jefferson Cougars football squad scored a close 12-6 triumph over the Millbrook Pioneers.
The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Applemen come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Musselman tipped Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD), 22-14, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Pioneers meet the Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 22. Millbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 5-1 record after their 23-22 non-league loss to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA).
