Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) and the visiting Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL), saw Oak Park-River Forest's soccer squad hold off Glenbard West by a score of 2-1.
The Huskies (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Argo (Summit, IL). The Argonauts enter the non-league battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Argo tipped Reavis (Burbank, IL), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 17. Glenbard West will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 5-10 record after their 5-1 league win over Batavia (Batavia, IL).
