In Tuesday's non-league match, the Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM) volleyball squad overcame the visiting New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the battle the San Jon Coyotes (San Jon, NM) in a 1A District 6 match, on Thursday, October 17. Fort Sumner/House will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Coyotes enter the match with a 5-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Grady (Grady, NM).
