In Tuesday's non-league match, the Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Oakcrest Chargers (McLean, VA), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Hawks battle the Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) in a Greater Piedmont match, on Wednesday, October 16. Highland will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Fighting Owls enter the match with a 0-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA).
