West Virginia High School Volleyball - Philip Barbour over Lewis County

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) and the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), observed Philip Barbour's volleyball team top Lewis County by a count of 2-0.

The Colts (30-12) will now prepare for their contest against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Monarchs enter the non-league contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, John Marshall notched a victory over East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Minutemen meet the Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 22. Lewis County will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record.
