The Greene Central Rams football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Ayden - Grifton Chargers to 21 in the Rams non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Rams now hold a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Farmville Central for a non-league test on Thursday, October 23. Greene Central will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 46-0 league loss to Kinston (Kinston, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Ayden - Grifton moves to 0-7 on the season. The Chargers travel to Tarboro (Tarboro, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 23. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Tarboro won 32-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC)
