Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Our Lady of Tepeyac Tigers (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Northtown Pumas (Chicago, IL), observed Our Lady of Tepeyac's volleyball team hold off Northtown by a count of 2-1.
The Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Christ the King (Chicago, IL). The Gladiators go into the battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Christ the King was edged by Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Pumas now own a 5-4 record.
