The Griswold Wolverines soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Putnam Clippers to 0 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wolverines now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Montville for a Eastern Connecticut III bout on Saturday, October 18. Griswold will play a Wolves squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Wolves record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Putnam moves to 0-14 on the year.
