In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Howard Lions soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Mt. Hebron Vikings.
The Lions (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD). The Mustangs enter the Class 3A North II outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Marriotts Ridge nipped Hammond (Columbia, MD), 5-0, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now sport a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hammond for a Howard County outing on Friday, October 17. Mt. Hebron will confront a Golden Bears squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-8.
