Louisiana High School Volleyball - John Curtis Christian over Northlake Christian

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA) and the host Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA), observed John Curtis Christian's volleyball team top Northlake Christian by a count of 3-1.

The Patriots (20-7) will now prepare for their battle against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cubs go into the non-league battle with a 18-1 record.

The Wolverines now own a 18-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic of Pointe Coupee for a non-league contest on Thursday, October 16. Northlake Christian will meet a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Livonia (Livonia, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 11-11.
