Illinois High School Volleyball - Warren Township edged by Lake Zurich

Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Lake Zurich improves its record to 15-10 on the season. The Bears travel to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL) to meet the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 17. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-20. Conant lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Palatine (Palatine, IL)

Next, the Blue Devils face the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 16. Warren Township will attempt to improve on its 10-17 season record. The Corsairs go into the test with a 24-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL).
