South Carolina High School Volleyball - Ohio County crushed by May River

In Wednesday's non-league match, the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY), by a margin of 3-0.

The Sharks now possess a 22-9 record. They play next when they host Beaufort for a AAAA Region 6 bout on Thursday, October 16. May River will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league win over Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Ohio County drops to 12-20 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 16. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 21-13. Hilton Head Christian Academy lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC)
