The Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA) volleyball held off the visiting St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Wolves now possess a 14-14 record. They play next when they host Sam Houston for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 16. Rayne will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA). The Broncos record now stands at 21-8.
With the loss, St. Edmund falls to 11-10 on the year. The Fighting blue jays host North Central (Lebeau, LA) to battle the Hurricanes in a Division V District 2 contest on Thursday, October 16. The Hurricanes enter the contest with a record of 0-6.
