The Lunenburg Central Chargers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Fuqua Falcons to 0 in the Chargers non-league victory on Monday.
The Chargers (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Dukes enter the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Cumberland was dropped by Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Amelia Academy Patriots (Amelia Court House, VA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Fuqua will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 0-9 record after their 2-1 league loss to Tidewater Academy (Wakefield, VA).
