With the loss, Concord drops to 12-4 on the season. The Spiders host Carson (China Grove, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a South Piedmont 3A test on Wednesday, October 18. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 7-8. Carson lost 1-0 in their recent league test against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)
