In Monday's non-league contest, the Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA) softball team held off the visiting Montgomery County Eagles (Mt. Vernon, GA), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, Charlton County moves its record to 9-11 on the year. The Indians travel to Baconton Charter (Baconton, GA) to play the Blazers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 17. The Blazers come into the contest with a record of 22-8. Baconton Charter won 7-4 in their recent non-league contest against Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA)
