The Middle Creek Mustangs were victorious over the visiting Apex Cougars football team by a score of 43-28 in Wednesday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 23. Middle Creek will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 28-6 non-league win over Cary (Cary, NC).
The Cougars (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks enter the challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Holly Springs ran past Green Hope (Cary, NC), 62-6, in a non-league challenge.
