Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Berkshire School Bears (Sheffield, MA) and the host Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT), saw Berkshire School's soccer squad triumph over Pomfret School by a count of 7-1.

The Bears (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Canterbury School (New Milford, CT). The Saints enter the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Canterbury School tipped Wilbraham & Monson Academy (Wilbraham, MA), 6-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Griffins battle the Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 19. Pomfret School will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Highlanders enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 2-2 non-league Kingswood Oxford (West Hartford, CT).
