The Orangemen (27-5) will now prepare for their bout against Blair (Blair, NE). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 29-7 record. In their last bout, Blair knocked off Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE), 9-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Griffins battle the Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 17. Gretna East will attempt to advance on its 18-15 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 16-11 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Blair (Blair, NE).
