The Loyalsock Township Lancers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host South Williamsport Mountaineers to 1 in the Lancers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lancers now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Hughesville for a PIAA District IV outing on Saturday, October 19. Loyalsock Township will play a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sugar Valley Rural (Loganton, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, South Williamsport drops to 8-6 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA) to play the Hornets in a non-league outing on Monday, October 21. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 16-4. Wellsboro lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Troy (Troy, PA)
