The Abington Heights Comets walloped the visiting Scranton Knights football team by a score of 49-13 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets play the Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 24. Abington Heights will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 1-8 record after their 37-7 league loss to Dallas (Dallas, PA).
With the defeat, Scranton drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Knights host Delaware Valley (Milford, PA) to meet the Warriors in a Lackawanna 1 test on Thursday, October 23. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 4-5. Delaware Valley lost 28-21 in their recent league challenge against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA)
