Texas High School Football - Strake Jesuit holds off Fulshear

The Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Fulshear Chargers to 38 in the Fighting Crusaders league triumph on Thursday.

The Fighting Crusaders now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Alief Taylor for a 6A Region III District 20 game on Friday, October 24. Strake Jesuit will face a Lions team coming off a 24-6 league loss to Foster (Richmond, TX). The Lions record now stands at 3-4.

The Chargers (5-3) will now prepare for their game against George Ranch (Richmond, TX). The Longhorns enter the 6A Region III District 20 game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, George Ranch held off Alief Elsik (Houston, TX), 40-31, in a league outing.
