The Lutheran Lions overwhelmed the visiting Hinkley Thunder football squad by a margin of 72-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Lions now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Family for a 3A Metro test on Friday, October 24. Lutheran will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 42-0 league win over Kennedy (Denver, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Hinkley falls to 0-7 on the year. The Thunder travel to Standley Lake (Westminster, CO) to face the Gators in a 3A Metro challenge on Thursday, October 23. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Standley Lake won 56-0 in their recent league challenge against Littleton (Littleton, CO)
