The Pirates now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Abbeville for a 3A District 5 game on Thursday, October 23. Kaplan will face a Wildcats team coming off a 33-30 non-league loss to Franklinton (Franklinton, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.
The Kittens (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Kentwood (Kentwood, LA). The Kangaroos enter the 1A District 9 game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Kentwood ran past Independence (Independence, LA), 24-0, in a non-league outing.
