The Lindsay Leopards overwhelmed the host Marietta Indians football squad by a margin of 42-7 in Thursday's league test.
The Leopards now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Crossings Christian for a 2A-I District 2 test on Friday, October 24. Lindsay will meet a Knights squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Lexington (Lexington, OK). The Knights record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Marietta falls to 2-5 on the year. The Indians host Little Axe (Norman, OK) to face the Indians in a 2A-I District 2 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Little Axe won 41-35 in their recent league challenge against Dickson (Ardmore, OK)
