Sasakwa Vikings (Sasakwa, OK) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Maysville Warriors (Maysville, OK), 40-6 in a league battle.
With the win, Sasakwa improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Vikings host Graham/Dustin (Weleetka, OK) to play the RiverHawk in a C District 4 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 24. The RiverHawk go into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Graham/Dustin lost 66-28 in their recent league challenge against Paoli (Paoli, OK)
The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Maud (Maud, OK). The Tigers go into the C District 4 (8 Man) challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Maud bounced Bowlegs (Bowlegs, OK), 44-8, in a league challenge.
