The Fairfax Lions football squad scored 26 points and limited the host Alexandria City Titans to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Springfield for a non-league test on Thursday, October 23. Fairfax will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 32-14 non-league win over Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-1.
The Titans (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Rams go into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Robinson toppled Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA), 28-14, in a non-league challenge.
