California High School Football - Miramonte sneaks past Clayton Valley Charter

The Miramonte Matadors football squad scored 22 points and limited the visiting Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles to 19 in the Matadors league triumph on Thursday.

The Matadors now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Berkeley for a non-league test on Thursday, October 23. Miramonte will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 13-8 league loss to Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-5.

The Ugly Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Dons come into the test with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Acalanes was edged by Campolindo (Moraga, CA), 6-0, in a league challenge.
