The Mullen Mustangs were victorious over the visiting Erie Tigers football team by a score of 22-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 23. Mullen will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO).
The Tigers (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Wellington (Wellington, CO). The Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 7-0 record. In their last outing, Wellington topped Eaton (Eaton, CO), 24-0, in a league outing.
