The Bellingham Bayhawks soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Burlington-Edison Tigers to 0 in the Bayhawks league victory on Thursday.
The Bayhawks now hold a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Vernon for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Tuesday, October 21. Bellingham will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Burlington-Edison moves to 5-7 on the year. The Tigers host Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA) to encounter the Wildcats in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Tuesday, October 21. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Oak Harbor won 1-0 in their recent league bout against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA)
