Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX) boosters were happy Thursday as they witnessed their football squad topple the visiting Eastwood Troopers (El Paso, TX), 22-0 in a league match.

The Spartans (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs enter the match with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Socorro was topped by Franklin (El Paso, TX), 37-18, in a non-league battle.

The Troopers now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Coronado for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 23. Eastwood will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 19-12 non-league loss to Montwood (El Paso, TX). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-6.
