The William Byrd Terriers were victorious over the visiting Fleming Colonels football team by a score of 41-28 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Terriers face the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 23. William Byrd will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 30-6 non-league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA).
The Colonels (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings come into the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Northside fell by Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 27-2, in a non-league game.
