The Granite Bears now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Surry Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 23. Mount Airy will face a Golden Eagles team coming off a 37-17 league loss to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-4.

The Falcons (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, East Surry ran past West Stokes (King, NC), 32-6, in a non-league challenge.
