The Hueneme Vikings were victorious over the visiting San Marcos Royals football team by a score of 41-27 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Santa Paula Cardinals (Santa Paula, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, October 24. Hueneme will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 21-13 league loss to Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA).
The Royals (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Nordhoff (Ojai, CA). The Rangers come into the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Nordhoff topped Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA), 7-6, in a non-league test.
