California High School Football - Jefferson trounces Monta Vista

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Jefferson Grizzlies football squad scored a decisive 40-0 triumph over the Monta Vista Matadors.
The Grizzlies (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Homestead (Cupertino, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Homestead walloped Mills (Millbrae, CA), 18-14, in a non-league battle.
The Matadors now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to MacDonald for a battle on Friday, October 24. Monta Vista will play a Condor team coming off a 30-6 league loss to El Camino (South San Francisco, CA). The Condor record now stands at 3-4.
