The Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) football trounced the visiting Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), 49-14 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Gladiators now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alleghany for a non-league game on Thursday, October 23. Riverheads will battle a Cougars team coming off a 39-16 non-league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-4.
The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians enter the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Fort Defiance was trounced by Riverheads (Staunton, VA), 22-6, in a non-league bout.
