The Gilpin County Eagles volleyball squad (Black Hawk, CO), was beaten 2-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Heritage Christian Eagles (Fort Collins, CO)

The Eagles (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Flatirons Academy (Westminster, CO). The Bison enter the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record.

Next, the Eagles meet the Highland Huskies (Ault, CO) in a test, on Friday, October 24. Gilpin County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Huskies go into the test with a 10-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Estes Park (Estes Park, CO).
