Streator Bulldogs (Streator, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs (17-13) will now prepare for their challenge against East Peoria (East Peoria, IL). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, East Peoria went down by Champaign Central (Champaign, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Lions now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilmington for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Lisle will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Streator (Streator, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-7.
