The Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) soccer nipped the visiting Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL), 1-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host ITW David Speer Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 21. Maine South will battle a Pride squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Mansueto (Chicago, IL). The Pride record now stands at 13-3.
Next up, the Blazers battle the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 21. Addison Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Grenadiers enter the battle with a 10-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Huntley (Huntley, IL).
