The Wheeler Warriors (Providence, RI) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Grace Baptist Christian Academy Centurions (Attleboro, MA), 5-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Warriors now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Beaver Country Day for a Eastern Independent challenge on Friday, October 17. Wheeler will battle a Beaver squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Concord Academy (Concord, MA). The Beaver record now stands at 0-8.
Next up, the Centurions battle the Emmanuel Christian Academy (Newington, CT) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 17. Grace Baptist Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
