In Thursday's league outing, the host Johnston Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Mt. Pleasant Kilties.

The Panthers (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Broncos go into the Division 3 outing with a 12-1 record. In their last outing, Burrillville got by Providence Country Day (East Providence, RI), 6-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Kilties confront the Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE (Cumberland, RI) in a Division 3 outing, on Tuesday, October 21. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The PRIDE go into the outing with a 8-6 record after their 0-0 league Prout (Wakefield, RI).
