The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers edged the visiting Marlborough Panthers soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Mountaineers face the South Colonels (Worcester, MA) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 20. Wachusett Regional will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Colonels enter the game with a 1-6 record after their 4-3 league win over Burncoat (Worcester, MA).
The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA). The Titans go into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Algonquin Regional tipped Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA), 2-1, in a league battle.
