The Pioneers (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Riverside (Boardman, OR). The Pirates enter the 3A/2A/1A-SD6 Special District 6 battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Riverside tipped Umatilla (Umatilla, OR), 6-1, in a league battle.

In their next game, the Buckaroos meet the Ontario Tigers (Ontario, OR) in a 4A Greater Oregon match, on Tuesday, October 21. Pendleton will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 8-2 record after their 8-0 league win over La Grande (La Grande, OR).
