The Briarwood Academy Buccaneers softball squad scored 7 runs and restricted the visiting Trinity Christian Crusaders to 5 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Buccaneers meet the Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 17. Briarwood Academy will attempt to move on its 12-9 season record. The Raiders come into the outing with a 19-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA).
