South Dakota High School Volleyball - Centerville can't get by Avon

The Avon Pirates edged the host Centerville Tornadoes volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Pirates confront the Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 20. Avon will attempt to advance on its 15-10 season record. The Rustlers come into the outing with a 17-9 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Hanson (Alexandria, SD).

With the loss, Centerville drops to 10-13 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Baltic (Baltic, SD) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 21. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 19-7. Baltic won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Sioux Valley (Volga, SD)
