The Bloomington Purple Raiders volleyball squad (Bloomington, IL), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL)

The Irish (21-12) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Chargers enter the Big Twelve contest with a 9-18 record. In their last contest, Centennial notched a victory over Richwoods (Peoria, IL), 2-1, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Purple Raiders encounter the Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL) in a Big Twelve battle, on Tuesday, October 21. Bloomington will attempt to improve on its 12-20 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 17-14 record after their 2-0 league win over Peoria (Peoria, IL).
