In Thursday's league challenge, the host Kennedy Commanders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the DSST: Cedar Falcons.
The Commanders (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Alameda (Lakewood, CO). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 3-14 record. In their last challenge, Alameda went down by Arrupe Jesuit (Denver, CO), 3-0, in a non-league game.
The Falcons (5-14) will now prepare for their game against DMLK (Denver, CO). The Panthers go into the 4A City game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, DMLK gained a win over Lincoln (Denver, CO), 3-1, in a league game.
