Connecticut High School Volleyball - Holy Cross over Kennedy

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT) and the host Kennedy Eagles (Waterbury, CT), observed Holy Cross's volleyball team top Kennedy by a count of 3-0.

The Crusaders (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Crosby (Waterbury, CT). The Bulldogs enter the Naugatuck Valley contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Crosby was knocked off by Torrington (Torrington, CT), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Eagles now own a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waterbury Career Academy for a Naugatuck Valley battle on Tuesday, October 21. Kennedy will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Torrington (Torrington, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 13-5.
